German dairy company DMK Group has announced the appointment of Oliver Bartelt as its new head of corporate communications, replacing Hermann Cordes, who will be responsible for DMK’s public affairs from now on.
Bartelt has almost 20 years of experience in different consumer good sectors. Prior to this appointment, he has been working at brewing company Anheuser-Busch InBev, where he has been responsible for the company’s communication since 2008.
“We are happy to welcome Oliver Bartelt to our team during this exciting development phase for our company,” said Ingo Müller, CEO of DMK Group. “We are happy to have gained an expert with a great passion for brands and expertise regarding change management for this important position”.
'Exciting Task'
In his new role, Bartelt will be responsible for the strategy and implementation of external and internal communication measures, together with a team of nine others.
“The competence of companies to operate proactively in times of change often depends on communication,” said Bartelt. “I am happy to strategically reorganise the corporate communications and develop the team’s structure. It’s an exciting task in an important phase for the company”.
