Spanish retailer Dia has inaugurated a new warehouse at Villanueva de Gállego in Zaragoza.
Covering more than 30,000 square metres, 63 docks and a storing capacity of over 14,000 pallets, the Villanueva de Gállego facility is the Spanish retailer's biggest warehouse platform up the date, from a total of 23 units.
As reported by revistaaral.com, the facility represents an investment of €14.5 million. From this site, more than 4,500 products will be supplied to 241 stores, across six provinces (Zaragoza, Huesca, Teruel, Navarra, La Rioja and Soria).
The unit will also allow the company to test new products.
Dia is currently responsible for purchases of over €38 million from producers in the Aragon region.
