Spanish meat company ElPozo Alimentación has confirmed that it is seeking to bolster its presence in China.
The company is currently present at the China International Meat Industry Exhibition 2016 (CIMIE) in Beijing.
As reported by RevistaInfoRetail.com, the event is the biggest meeting point for meat professionals in China. Through its attendance, ElPozo is aiming to strengthen its commercial reach in the country, which is already one of its main export markets.
China is Spain's main export destination for food and drink, representing a market worth over €500 million and one of the biggest growth projections. The country is also the primary export market for Spanish meat products, registering growth of 128% this year, compared to 2015.
