One of the biggest food businesses in Northern Ireland, the Henderson Group, have signed a multi-year agreement to use Wigan-based Atlas Products new Fusion supply chain portal.
Atlas Fusion will complement and complete the Henderson Group’s existing electronic trading environment, helping to deal with more than 300,000 invoices submitted by suppliers each year.
Fusion’s sophisticated, cloud-based functionality delivers cost savings and minimises carbon footprint by automating labour intensive tasks and removing the potential for human error.
A clearing house for orders and invoices, Fusion enables trading partners to deal with problems such as invoice mismatches in a collaborative space on the web, accessible to buyer and supplier alike.
The Henderson Group, owners of the SPAR, EUROSPAR, ViVO, ViVOXtra and ViVO Essentials franchises in Northern Ireland, will implement the Fusion supply chain to its 400 stores in the country.
"We have been very impressed by their approach and the quality of their technology and we look forward to working together to achieve the projected cost and efficiency benefits,” said Henderson Group Finance Manager Jack Regan.
