Intermarché Invests In Brittany Distribution Centre

French retailer ITM (Intermarché) is to invest €50 million in the construction of a distribution centre in Erbrée, Brittany.

The new 74,000 square metre Erbrée location will replace the group's current ambient site in Argentre and will take over storage functions of fresh and frozen products from the Grand Fougeray site. The Grand Fougeray site will then become a central base for ITM's non-food operations. ITM anticipate that the new Erbrée centre and the repurposed Grand Fougeray site to come on stream in 2015.
