Italian food exports reached a high of €24.5 billion in the year to August 2016, growing more than 3% compared to 2015.
According to foreign trade data published by national institute ISTAT, grocery exports touched €3 billion in August, which is 12% higher than the same month the last year.
According to Minister Maurizio Martina, this goal has been achieved by the business community with the support of the Government.
