Dutch retailer Jumbo Supermarkten has opened a new home delivery centre in Bemmel to cater to the increasing demand for online groceries.
The new hub will allow the retailer to fulfill more orders and offer more delivery slots to customers.
The facility, located on Nijverheidsstraat in Bemmel, will deliver groceries to customers’ homes around Arnhem, Nijmegen and Ede, part of the Betuwe and the province of Utrecht, and a part of northern Limburg.
It is Jumbo’s eighth central home delivery location.
The retailer operates delivery hubs in Hertogenbosch in Amsterdam, Middelburg, Utrecht, Breda and Heerhugowaard.
