Croatian retailer Konzum has implemented a new Retail Planning and Optimisation solution, developed by Oracle.
The implementation of the new system will enable the company to promote business operations efficiency, enable smarter decision-making, enhance collaboration with suppliers and improve alignment with the group's 700+ store network, it said.
Recently, the retailer extended its use of the Oracle Retail Predictive Application Server, with the Replenishment Parameters Management (REPAMA) solution developed by Oracle PartnerNetwork system integrator Sigmia.
According to Konzum’s Inventory Management & Planning Director, Adrian Alajkovic, the new system has “reduced response times, increased efficiency in decision-making and reduced the overall workload through better communication”.
Konzum is owned by food-to-retail consortium Agrokor, whose retail unit operates 2,000 stores in the former Yugoslavia region.
