Spanish dairy company Grupo Leche Rio S.A invested €3 million in its O Ceao processing plant, investing in technology for packing UHT milk in Tetra Brik Mid format, Elcorreogallego.es has reported.
The president of the company, Jesús Lence said that the investment involved the creation of a new more competitive package.
Grupo Leche Rio S.A is the biggest milk processing company in Galicia, a region that produces 50% of the milk for the Spanish market.
The company reported a turnover of €220 million and processed 275 million litres of milk in 2015.
