Slovenian retailer Mercator has expanded the 'Radi' project that offers homemade products in its stores.
Mercator started its support to homegrown products during the 'Radi imamo domače' initiative, which has since become a fixture of its operations.
A total of 700 homemade products are available on store shelves, with 70 new farms as suppliers.
The commitment to stand up for domestic producers and breeders will intensify this autumn with closer association with Slovenian cooperatives.
A new media campaign to promote the Radi imamo domače initiative will be aired during October on various media.
