Serbian retailer Mercator-S, owned by Croatian retail-to-food group Agrokor, has launched a new line of authentic Serbian products, called "Tastes from my region", crafted according to original recipes typical of the Balkan region. Zlatibor young cream; Sremska sausage; ham; homemade fruit preserve from raspberries, blackberries, cherries or blueberries; homemade chutney; homemade plum jam, greaves, poppy strudel, are only part of the wide range of new products that appeared in the Idea, Roda and Mercator stores.
Traditional products from Vojvodina, Ma?va, Posavina, Šumadija, Zlatibor, Fruška Gora, Timok Valley, Nišava and Morava were prepared in cooperation with local producers from these regions of Serbia.
"Tastes from my region" products are of high quality, without additives, flavorings, preservatives and other additives. The authenticity of these products is reflected in the way of preparation, which is based on respect for the traditional production process and production.
