The Groupement des Mousquetaires has enlarged its logistical capacity for non-food SKUs through a second supply chain centre in Garancières, which covers 46,000 square metres.
It complements ‘Garancières I’, its existing 66,000 square-metre facility, which has just celebrated its 30th anniversary. Both plants supply the Mousquetaires DIY banners Bricomarché and Brico Cash, which operate an aggregate of 512 points of sale, while the newer centre will also distribute car-related products under the banner Roady.
This warehouse, dubbed 'Garancières II', will deliver 3.2 million SKUs annually. The newly unveiled building has been under construction since 2013, and relies largely on green energy, Mousquetaires said.
