German shipping firm Oldenburg-Portugiesische Dampfschiffs-Rhederei (OPDR) has inaugurated its new service, 'CAVA', which will connect Spanish ports with those in Northern Europe, including St. Petersburg.
According to freshplaza.es, the new service will link the Spanish ports of Valencia and Cartagena with four of the main ports in the North of Europe: Tilbury, Amberes, Rotterdam and St. Petersburg.
OPDR, a subsidiary of CMA CGM, boasts a fleet of six ships of 1,800 TEU each.
OPDR recently announced as well that it will be launching a revised 'AGAX' service that will connect Europe with Morocco, the Iberian Peninsula and the Canary Islands.
