Sugar manufacturer Nordzucker has announced the appointment of Joachim Rüger as the head of its sugar factory in Clauen, effective immediately.
He has years of experience as a plant manager and most recently was responsible for overall safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) in the sugar Group.
'A Production Expert'
Dr Arend Wittenberg, head of production, commented, "I am delighted that Joachim Rüger, an experienced plant manager from Schladen and Uelzen and a production expert, is ready to take over the management of the Clauen plant. I wish him every success in his endeavour."
He will succeed Elmar Kuhnt, who will concentrate on managing the plant in Nordstemmen.
Kuhnt temporarily took over the management of the manufacturing unit in Clauen after Zoltán Tóth passed away in March of this year.
