Some 190 food suppliers in Poland have voted Carrefour the best ‘Multiformat Network’ retailer in the country in a poll conducted by Nielsen.
Carrefour described the award as a ‘particularly precious title to hold,' given that it is voted for by members of the food and drink industry. The suppliers commended Carrefour for the quality of its supply chain networks, as well as the investments it has made over the last number of years.
‘The network's reputation and promotional campaigns, cooperation in developing business activity, business conditions and the collaboration that takes place all along the length of the supply chain were among the criteria assessed,’ Carrefour commented.
The company also collected the award for ‘New Retail Concept of the Year’ at the annual Shopping Centre Forum – an achievement it attributes to its Posnania hypermarket and Białołęka Premium supermarket in Warsaw.
