Tesco will change the layout of its stores over the next couple of weeks in a bid to enhance product availability.
The trail will take place in 50 undisclosed stores across the UK, and the revamp will include changing the way in which products are displayed, bringing ingredients that are commonly bought as part of a meal together in store.
According to supplychainanalysis.igd.com, a Tesco spokeswoman said: “These changes will ensure we continue to offer customers the best choice of products as well as improving the availability of the most popular items."
The retailer has also outlined its intention to simplify its range of products, making the overall shopping experience easier for the consumer.
