Amazon has commenced its Prime Now service in Berlin, offering one hour delivery to users, reports Lebensmittel Zeitung.
The German trade periodical quoted Amazon as saying that one hour delivery will cost €6.99, while by selecting a two hour window on the same day, users can avail of free deliveries.
The online retailer will offer around 10,000 products using the service.
"With the new service and the great variety of products, we want Prime Now to make the everyday life of our customers more comfortable," said Amazon Germany chief Ralf Kleber.
