Amazon's ultra-fast delivery service Prime Now has been launched in Barcelona. The service was launched in Madrid last July and has quickly grown in popularity.
As reported by granconsumo.tv, the service is now available in the Catalonian capital as well as in 26 nearby localities.
Customers in Barcelona and surrounding areas that use the service are able to choose from over 20,000 products and receive their orders within an hour or at a time frame of their choice. Categories available include frozen and chilled foods, as well as fresh produce, baby food and drinks. Many local producers from Barcelona will be among the portfolio available in the area.
Amazon added that over 50% of the vehicles used to deliver the products in Barcelona will be electric, including delivery bicycles.
