Auchan France has begun the process of installing in-store advertising screens in 120 hypermarkets across the country, with some 3,500 screens envisioned to be operational by 2018.
The advertising method has already been acclaimed by Coca-Cola, Herta, Chocapic, Nivea, Mikado, Lactel Sporteus, Velours Noir, Fanta, and Nutella, among others, LSA.fr reports. Of the 3,500 screens Auchan plans to install, about 2,800 will be in its hypermarkets.
These are planned for all areas of Auchan outlets – from store entries, to aisles, to checkout areas – with emphasis on the last of these.
It is working on this in-supermarket publicity platform with Imedia Center. The retailer anticipates that five million shoppers per week will see the screens’ material when the network is fully operational.
