French retailer Auchan has relaunched its ‘My Auchan’ app, with a view to providing more services and being an ‘ally’ to consumers’ daily lives.
The new app, simply called Auchan, will incorporate mobile payments from Lyf Pay, as well as a health coaching service, #LaVieEnBleu (‘The Life in Blue’). It will also offer enhanced digital features, such as a Christmas catalogue in augmented reality.
'All The Possibilities'
"With this new app, Auchan is proving its desire to enrich the lives of our customers by using all the possibilities of digital technology,” commented Patrick Espasa, executive president ofAuchan Retail France.
“This app fully expresses the values of our unique, connected brand and is synonymous with attractiveness, quality and service. It therefore forms part of our commitment to reinvent the customer experience "
Extra Service
The app also enables consumers to create digital shopping lists through barcode scanning, check the availability of items in their local store, utilise loyalty programmes and coupons on the go, and pay for goods using mobile payment.
The #LaVieEnBleu health coaching service offers a personalised support programme for consumers wishing to live healthier lives, including tips, advice and recipes, as well as daily challenges. It also assists with the management of any food allergies or intolerances your family might have.
