The online portals of French retailer Auchan welcome approximately 170 million users per year, according to the group’s e-commerce head, Daniel Malouf.
The performance puts the group in the top 15 in terms of most-visited French websites.
According to 20Minutes.fr, Malouf cited the need to develop an even better mobile site for the group as a key priority this year, as part of its ‘mobile first’ strategy.
He welcomed the arrival of the new frais.auchan.fr website, which enables users to purchase up to 300 wines and fresh products, and collect them from the group’s Drive and Chronodrive locations.
