Italian retailer Basko is expanding its network in the country by improving distribution channels, according to Gdoweek.
In particular, the company has redesigned its website Basko.it, in order to make online purchases easier for customers. The retailer's online service can be completed in three ways - home delivery, click-and-collect in stores, and a self-service option at vending machines in central city areas, which will be introduced later this year.
Online Features
Basko's website offers 6,000 products including meat, fresh fish and delicatessen items, all prepared according to customers’ requests. In addition, the website allows customers to filter the products in terms of allergies, specific diets, and vegan or organic products.
“The Basko brand is synonym of innovation,” said digital manager Lucia Bruzzone, who added that the with relaunch of its website, the company aims to be a pioneer in the e-commerce channel.
