Carrefour Belgium has announced that it is opening 15 new pick-up points this month for its online 'click and collect' grocery service, drive.be.
This brings the total number of collection points launched by the retailer this year to 72.
As part of its commitment to develop its delivery options, Carrefour has also extended home delivery by joining forces with PostNL. Since then, it has been providing the service every working day, between 5 pm and 10 pm.
In addition, it is trialling the platform Bringr, which enable smartphone users to deliver another customer’s orders at a time and place that they specify.
Customers now have a choice of 152 points for picking up orders that they have placed on Carrefour's drive.be website, where the retailer currently offers around 15,000 products.
