Carrefour Spain’s e-commerce portal has been voted the best online platform for a hypermarket chain in the country, claiming the Best Webshop prize for the second consecutive year.
Usability, range of product offering, efficiency of delivery, customer service, and quality-versus-price were among the categories on which www.WebshopDelaño.es users voted.
'The Carrefour Spain food website received a total of 10 million visits over the year', the retailer said in a press release.
'It has over 23,000 references, of which over 2,500 are fresh products. It also incorporates areas devoted to specialist stores such as drug-store, wine cellar, organic and lactose or gluten free products.'
Carrefour Viajes, the company’s travel agent arm, was also the victor in its category.
