French shoppers can now buy groceries from Carrefour hypermarkets and supermarkets through the Everli online platform in 10 cities across the country.
The move follows the announcement of the extension of Carrefour and Everli’s international commercial agreement in December of last year.
The service is available in Lille, Lyon, Nice, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Montpellier, Nantes, Grenoble, Rennes and Paris, as well as surrounding suburbs.
Elodie Perthuisot, executive director of e-commerce, data and digital transformation at Carrefour Group, said, “Personal shopping is a new trend within the booming Home Delivery market. […] Carrefour wanted to embrace this new segment to complement its existing e-commerce services’ portfolio, and meet customers’ expectations.
“The success of our partnership with Everli in other countries for weekly big baskets, made us confident to naturally develop together in France, our main market.”
The Partnership
The partnership will see the retailer offer up to 25,000 products from more than 140 local stores through the Everli platform.
The goods will be delivered on the same day, and include items from Carrefour’s fresh food counters comprising bakery, butchery, cold meats, fishmongers, and cheese.
Everli also offers new shoppers free delivery and €40 off across the first four orders with Carrefour on a minimum shopping of €60.
“At Everli, we are focused on delivering high-demanding customers peace of mind, allowing them to easily place an order for their weekly grocery from their favourite store in a few minutes, and receive it on the same day, thanks to our dedicated Everli Shoppers,” said Federico Sargenti, CEO at Everli.
“We’ve had a long and successful partnership with Carrefour in other markets, and know how important they are to French customers, and therefore we’re thrilled that we’re able to offer access to their products on our platform across France,” he added.
