Carrefour Belgium has launched a new tool that allows their customers to add items to their online shopping baskets straight from their kitchen.
'Connected Kitchen' has specifically been rolled out for the Belgian market and has been developed in collaboration with technology company Worldline.
The device allows Carrefour's customers to either scan an item they want to replace or use the device's voice recognition facility to add new items which will automatically appear in their online account.
The company claims Connected Kitchen is easy to install and comes with a magnetic surface that allows for it to be placed on a customers fridge to simplify usages even more.
Before making the final purchase customers can review their shopping basket online and chose between self-pickup or home delivery.
