French retailer Carrefour is launching a digital car service called monAuto.fr. This new website will offer customers garage services as well as car accessories.
The retail group has partnered with Avatacar, a start-up firm specialising in car services, to develop the site.
Online Services
The new website offers services adapted to each vehicle thanks to a personalisation system. Customers can select the service they need online, and the work will then be carried out by one of the retailer's 1,500 partner garages.
In addition, in major French cities including Paris, Lyon, Bordeaux and Nice, monAuto.fr can provide customers with car services at home or at a chosen location.
Carrefour says that the aim of this programme is is to offer customers a 'smoother and faster online service', which is up to 20% cheaper than other providers in the sector.
