Cimcorp has announced that it has created separate sales departments for its tire-manufacturing and warehousing and distribution divisions as part of a new organisational structure, effective from the beginning of June.
The move is in line with the company's growing profile as a leading systems integrator and will form the basis for the development of its international operations.
Vice president of sales at Cimcorp, Kai Tuomisaari, said, “The needs of our clients in the tire industry differ somewhat from those of our customers in the warehouse and distribution sector, and we believe that this organisational change will enable us to provide even more efficient and personal service during project negotiations.”
Three New Directors Appointed
Cimcorp has appointed former sales manager Veli-Matti Hakala as the director of the Tire Industry Sales division.
Commenting on his new role, Hakala said, “We will be able to focus more strongly on the evolving needs of our tire industry clients, enhance our services as an integrator and respond more quickly to the challenges customers face.”
Former sales manager Kari Miikkulainen has been named as the director of the Warehouse and Distribution Industry Sales segment.
Miikkulainen described the move as an "an important and exciting change" and added, "Our new sales departments will be able to focus more on their respective fields of expertise to further develop Cimcorp’s solutions, to serve customers better.”
The company also promoted former sales manager Jarno Honkanen as the director of the newly-created Solution Management department, which aims to enhance and maintain the competitiveness of Cimcorp’s automation solutions.
Honkanen added, "This means that the Solution Management department will not only need to work closely with both sales divisions, our R&D departments and our parent group, Murata Machinery, Ltd., but also with customers in both the tire and warehousing and distribution sectors."
