Coca-Cola France has created a virtual reality experience of one of its factories as an initiative of its ‘Made in France’ advertising campaign, according to RéalitéVirtuelle360.com.
Its VR programme, titled Coca-Cola 360, was unveiled at this year’s Virtuality Paris 2017 fair (24 February to 26 February inclusive).
The US-based company has also produced a 360 degree video for the same purpose.
“This 360-degree video is an initiative of Coca-Cola European Partners France,” said Louise Pasin, a communications officer at Coca-Cola European Partners, to the publication.
“We have launched it to support our marketing strategy of ‘Made in France’.
“We want to show and explain that, contrary to common perception, Coca-Cola is a drink made in France, in five separate factories, and that, notably, 90% of our drinks are indeed made in France, such as Fanta and Sprite.
“Above all, we want to show that our methods are innovative and transparent,” she added.
Coca-Cola France will see François Gay-Bellile become its new president in April of this year.
