R.E.D. (Research Engineering Development), a Ukraine-based software developer and manufacturer of POS-equipment for business automation, has joined Modern-Expo Group.
The agreement was signed in September 2017. The IT company, with headquarters and manufacturing facilities in Lviv, Ukraine, was founded in 2013 and produces products for the retail and HoReCa sectors.
As a result of the deal, Modern-Expo Group has added SMART solutions for retail to its assortment – touchscreen POS terminals, back-screen displays, self-checkout counters, PC scales, smart trolleys, and specialised computers for automation in 'unfriendly' environments, for example, increased humidity, presence of aggressive chemical reagents in the air, or low temperatures.
Future Of Retail
"The future of retail is in automation and IT solutions," said Petr Pylypyuk, CEO of Modern-Expo Group. "Therefore, cooperation with R.E.D. is an investment in innovation, in engineering, and in future development."
Equipment from R.E.D. can be integrated with Windows, Linux, and Android operating systems. It can be executed in different sizes, colours and have a variety of ports. These options allow clients to get an efficient price for equipment in the exact configuration and design that is required.
Denis Burlaka, CEO of R.E.D, added that this deal "gives our company the opportunity to enter international markets with solutions that have already proven themselves well in Eastern Europe and the Middle East markets."
