Portuguese supermarket chain Continente has launched a new online platform to help customers find the most suitable cheese based on their requirements.
The 'Nossa Queijaria' platform aims to promote the entire range of cheese sold in Continente stores and support consumers in their choices.
It filters customers' search based on various factors, such as region or country of origin, intensity, type of milk (sheep, goat or cow, buffalo or mixture), type of cheese (fresh, buttery, soft, semi-hard or hard), type of maturation, prizes obtained, time of consumption and price range.
Additional Features
Besides, shoppers can also access features and suggestions about the products, such as tasting notes and suggestions for consumption and harmonisation.
A feature on the mobile version of 'Nossa Queijaria' allows users to read barcodes on cheese to learn more about the products and buy them online or in physical stores.
The platform is updated daily using the information published on continente.pt website and Continente Online App.
The new platform is similar to 'Garrafeira do Continente', launched earlier this year, which helps consumers choose wine according to their tastes and interests.
