Coop Denmark's banner Kvickly Supermarkets will implement electronic shelf labels across all its stores, with the roll-out of Displaydata's three-colour electronic shelf labels (ESLs). Coop Denmark is the largest grocery retailer in Denmark.
Dynamic digital-display solutions provider Displaydata will roll out its new three-colour electronic shelf labels, Chroma, with Delfi’s Breece solution.
Coop Denmark, working with Displaydata’s partner Delfi Technologies, has already implemented electronic shelf labels in more than 300 of its stores, including brands Kvickly, SuperBrugsen, Dagli’ Brugsen and Irma.
With this latest roll-out, Kvickly stores will complete their installation of ESLs. The first roll-out of Displaydata’s three-colour Chroma ESLs within Europe supports three colours (black, red and ‘paper white’) and comes in a range of sizes.
“We look forward to Coop Denmark’s Kvickly Supermarkets implementing our three-colour ESLs,” said Martin Smethurst, SVP for global sales and marketing at Displaydata.
“There continues to be an acceleration in interest from retailers wishing to amplify the in-store shopping experience, and electronic shelf labels are the ideal technology platform for this."
Displaying accurate and impactful price, product and marketing messages in the store, with the ability to change this and other content remotely in real time, enhances both the consumer experience and, consequently, the sales and margins of retailers using ESLs, Smethurst said.
