Coop Sweden has announced that it has introduced a new AI-based digital assistant to its website.
The digital assistant, Cooper, aims to address customers’ queries on various topics as well as offer guidelines and suggestions on how to shop online.
'Unique Communication Platform'
Business area manager for digital services at Coop Sweden, Amer Mohammed, commented, “Cooper is the first step in our digital customer journey, where the goal is to offer Sweden's best customer experience.”
“This is a unique communication platform based on conversational AI. With Cooper as a base, we have the opportunity to build on and add more digital services step by step.”
The Service
The digital assistant is available on the bottom left corner of Coop Sweden's webpage.
The answers for queries that Cooper is unable to process instantly are available on the following day upon asking the question again.
The digital assistant’s understanding will broaden as its interactions with users increase, enabling it to address a wide array of customer queries, the retailer added.
