Spanish retailer Dia has launched a digital innovation platform, called Nexus by Dia, as part of its search for partners to generate a new, future-orientated supermarket model.
Looking for ideas that can add value to the business, Dia Group has opened a public competition online. The retailer aims to form alliances with other parties to ensure continuous business growth.
Competition Procedure
Dia has said that start-up companies can register their projects on the website until 27 August. The best will be pre-selected and given the opportunity to present their projects in front of a group of Dia experts.
Successful firms will then be given the opportunity to work on their projects for ten weeks, commencing 28 September. During this time, they will have access to a network of experts and can benefit from Dia’s business knowledge.
The retailer plans to end the competition on 23 January 2018, when one or several winning projects will be chosen.
