To promote its new online offering, one of Spain's largest supermarket chains is launching a special in-store promotion to convince customers how easy it is to shop online.
In its Metro convenience store in Moncloa, Madrid, Dia has launched its very own unique 'e-couching' station. The 'e-couching' system isn't very elaborate, just a simple lounge chair placed in-store where customers can order goods online with a mobile device provided by the company.
Dia hope that consumers who give the new initiative a try will realise that the experience focuses on saving time and money along with the effort of carrying heavy bags and queuing.
All customers involved in placing an order during the promotion are in with a chance of winning full trolley-loads of DIA products, as well as tablet devices.
