Spanish retailer Eroski has extended its online order picking service, which includes Click & Drive and Click & Collect, to 49 points in the Basque Country, Navarre, Galicia and Catalonia.
Click & Drive is a free service that combines online shopping with the possibility of a fast collection (within four hours after ordering) at one of 18 collection points at Eroski stores, without the customer having to leave their car.
Meanwhile, Click & Collect, which has reached 31 units at the end of the first half of the year, allows customers to collect their online purchases in-store within two hours of ordering.
“Our customers appreciate the convenience and the possibility of a seamless shopping experience that integrates online and offline channels,” said Eroski’s online business director Mari Mar Escrig.
Online Growth
Eroski says that it is continuously improving its digital services, and has recently launched the Eroski app, as well as updating its online store, which is able to offer home delivery in Balearic Islands, Navarra, Basque Country and Galicia.
The retailer adds that 85% of online orders feature fresh produce, which is above the Spanish average, according to data from Nielsen.
