Online grocer Rohlik Group has announced the appointment of former Amazon and Gopuff executive Erwin Brunner as its new chief operating officer (COO).
In a statement, the Czech operator said that the 'strategic hire underscores Rohlik Group's commitment to expanding its operational excellence and market presence'.
Brunner previously served as vice president of European operations at Gopuff, and vice president of operations EU at Amazon.
In his new role, he will oversee Rohlik Group's operations, including fulfilment, last mile and supply chain logistics.

Commenting on his appointment, Brunner said, “I am thrilled and super excited about the opportunity of joining Rohlik. The company's passion for improving operational execution through standardisation and automation, in addition to delivering flawless customer experiences, have been very important themes I have driven throughout my entire career.

Management Team
Along with Rohlik Group chief executive Tomas Cupr, the group's management team is now comprised of Olin Novák, international CEO; Vineta Bajaj, chief financial officer; Erwin Brunner, chief operating officer; Ondřej Klamt, chief technology officer; Mark Hübner, chief commercial officer and Alžběta Doležalová, chief people officer.
