German retailer Tegut has announced that customers can now purchase its products via Amazon Prime Now.
Shoppers can place their orders through the new Tegut online shop at www.primenow.de or the Amazon Prime Now app.
Presently, the service is available to customers in the greater Darmstadt and Frankfurt South area, the retailer added.
Managing Director of Tegut, Thomas Gutberlet, said, “We are delighted to be able to expand our existing cooperation with Amazon with the new online shop.
“The last few months of the coronavirus crisis, in particular, have shown how important it is to have the opportunity to shop from home and have everyday products delivered."
Product Assortment
The online platform will offer more than 6,000 products, ranging from fresh food to frozen items, beverages, personal care, and household products to pet food.
The retailer aims to expand the product assortment to 10,000 by the end of this year.
Delivery services via Amazon Prime Now will be available from Monday to Saturday between 10:00 hours and 22:00 hours, the retailer added.
The minimum order value for the service is €20.00 with a fee of €3.89 for orders under €50.
For same-day deliveries, customers will have the option to choose within a two-hour window.
