Cdiscount, the e-commerce division of Groupe Casino, has launched a new website which is dedicated to its garden products.
The move, reported by LSA, follows similar initiatives to create category-specific sites for, respectively, its health/beauty products, its DIY offering, and its products for babies and young children.
Though Groupe Casino’s online business is improving exponentially, moncornerjardin.com will compete with Carrefour’s Jardinage & Outillage online offering, along with similar lines distributed by the other large French retailers such as Auchan and E.Leclerc.
Among the products available on the site are garden benches, tables, parasols, and barbecues.
One of the site’s perks is its free-shipping offer for orders which cost €25 or more, or for which weigh 30 kilogrammes or over.
