Tesco’s Head of Labs, Angela Maurer, has departed the retailer, to take up a position with Landsec, a commercial property firm.
Retail Gazette reported that Maurer joined Landsec as its group head of innovation.
The publication added that the search for Maurer’s successor is now underway, with the retailer advertising the Head of Labs position on its website.
Job Experience
At Tesco, Maurer held a number of positions since joining the grocer in 2000, including most recently as Head of Labs, which she held for four years.
She also headed up the retailer’s innovation department for a period, as well as holding commercial manager and business development manager positions.
On its website, Landsec says that it ‘owns and manages some of the most successful and recognisable property assets in the UK’ with its portfolio combined of offices, retail and leisure developments around London and the rest of the UK.
