Hervé Skornik To Head Up Consumer Electrics & E-Commerce At Carrefour

Former president of French consumer electrics retailer Darty, Hervé Skornik, has been appointed by Carrefour as managing director of its non-food and e-commerce division.

Skornik joined Darty in 2000 and held a number of positions at the electronics retailer, including managing director for store network and for products. He became president of Darty France in 2008, holding the role nil 2012. Stanford-educated Skornik began his career at the French Ministry of Transport, before taking a role at ready-to-wear chain Etam in 1994.
