Intermarché has hired Marc Boulangé as its head of digital operations in a move which will see the communications professional report to the supermarket chain’s secretary general, Caroline Dassié, as well as its president, Thierry Cotillard.
Boulangé possesses 25 years’ experience as a communications officer, and 12 in the realm of digital communication, according to LSA.fr.
Most recently, he was involved in the development of the start-up Scoreway, which has created point-of-sale customer voice-recognition software. Previous to that, Boulangé acted as the managing director of French PR company, the Makheia Group.
Between 1997 and 2005 he was the managing director of RAPP Collins/RAPP Digital, which counts Casino Supermarché as one of its clients.
