On the back of a successful trial, Intermarché has begun deploying more 24/7 click-and-collect units, beginning with its second such site, located in Guillestre, Hautes-Alpes.
The site will be operational from 17 June, and follows the initial Intermarché click-and-collect point at Libourne, Gironde, which opened in March of this year.
Intermarché, speaking about the future potential of 24-hour click-and-collect units, said, “because the storage units are simple and compact, they can be installed in many different locations, among which are company buildings and train stations.”
Relatedly, Asda announced the opening of the UK’s first 24/7 click-and-collect station.
