Irish agricultural cooperative Aurivo has launched a new app for its milk suppliers, available in both Northern Ireland and the Republic.
Agricultural Accessibility
The app allows all milk suppliers with Aurivo to access their milk collection details, volumes, and test results, as well as monthly averages.
Suppliers can also use the app to view financial information, as well as past milk statements. Users of the app can also opt to receive Aurivo’s dairy newsletters, co-op updates, and details of upcoming schemes.
Further functionality will be added to the app, based on feedback from suppliers.
Farming Life And Technology
“Aurivo’s new app enables our milk suppliers to get all their supply data at the touch of a button on their smartphone,” said chairman Pat Duffy. “Technology is increasingly becoming part of farming life.”
The Aurivo Milk app, recently launched at a series of supplier meetings, currently has more than 300 subscribers.
In 2017, the milk cooperative reported a group operating profit increase of 10%, to €3.9 million.
