Dutch retailer Jumbo has introduced an online meal order service for customers of its Foodmarkt outlet in Groningen, in partnership with meal order site Thuisbezorgd.nl.
Presently, the project is in a pilot phase and will be evaluated after a few months, the retailer said.
Customer-Friendly Service
Customers can order fresh pizzas, salads, sushi, crispy focaccias, yoghurts and a host of other items, which are delivered within an hour to their doorsteps.
Anrico Maat, an entrepreneur at Foodmarkt Groningen, commented, "Customers can now also enjoy our fresh meals and products very easily at home, at work or wherever they choose. The collaboration fits in with the vision that we are there for our customers when they need us."
Placing An Order
To place an order, customers first enter the address of delivery at thuisbezorgd.nl or its app and opt for Jumbo Foodmarkt Groningen.
In the next step, they choose their meal or drinks from Jumbo's assortment to complete the order.
