Maxima Grupė Divests Poland-Based IT Arm, Infinite

Maxima Grupė has announced that it has sold its Poland-based IT systems provider Infinite Sp. z o.o.

The company, launched in 2002, is a subsidiary of Maxima-owned Emperia Holding S.A.

It has been acquired by the fintech company, DialCom24 Group, which develops and provides a wide range of financial and payment services for business and individual customers.

Focus On 'Core Business'

Commenting on the move, the head of Emperia Holding S.A., Arūnas Zimnickas, said, "With this decision, we are focusing on our core business operation – retail. Therefore, the funds received are planned to be allocated for further development."

With a workforce of over 200 people, Infinite provides IT support to more than 10,000 companies in Poland and other international markets.

In 2018, the company generated revenue of more than PLN 50 million (€11.6 million).
