Metro Italia has partnered with Italian online marketplace Everli, formerly known as Supermercato24, to offer shoppers access to its products.
For the first time, shoppers without a VAT number will be able to order from Metro and avail of home delivery services.
Currently, 14 Metro outlets in the provinces of Brescia, Florence, Milan, Parma, Ravenna, Rome, Turin, Trieste, Varese and Verona are offering the option to order from Everli.
Product Range
Customers can choose from more than 3,000 references via Everli’s platform, including a wide range of food products, electronics and office accessories.
Also, more than 600 products will be available on offer in each store along with the wholesaler's private-label lines, such as Metro Chef, Metro Professional, Aro, Columbus, Dolce Vite, and Madruzzo.
How It Works
The online orders are processed by shoppers, who visit the store in person to complete the shopping. They then deliver the orders to the desired address, at the agreed time.
The service offers same-day delivery and is active seven days a week.
Everli’s online shopping platform, which operates in more than 50 Italian cities, is used by other leading supermarket chains in the country such as Lidl, Coop, Esselunga, Conad and Carrefour.
Metro Italia runs 49 outlets in 16 regions across Italy.
