Portuguese supermarket chain Minipreço has introduced a new online shopping service, according to a report in distribuicaohoje.com.
Initially, the e-commerce service, via its www.minipreco.pt website, will be available to customers in the city of Lisbon.
By the end of the year, the retailer aims to extend the service to the Greater Porto area as well as other parts of the country.
Customers can choose from an assortment of more than 1,500 SKUs and avail of free deliveries for orders over €50, the report said.
Delivery slots are available between 10:00 and 21:30 hours.
According to the commercial director of DIA Portugal, Helena Guedes, the online platform will offer customers a convenient option to shop for essential items.
