Modern-Expo Group has been presented with a Retail Innovations Award for its parcel-locker solution ‘Fresh-Box’ at the RetailShow 2017 exhibition in Poland.
Fresh-Box is a self-service terminal that enables customers to receive parcels where and when it is the most convenient. Special cells within the locker keep the temperature between +2 and +8 °C, to enable fresh food storage.
It has been developed as a perfect solution for postal operators, delivery services, e-commerce, logistic companies, retailers, and even pharmacies. Fresh-Box was developed alongside Modern-Expo partner OMNIC.
Proud Honour
At RetailShow 2017, the award was presented to Anatoliy Khodziuk, CEO of Modern-Expo S.A., who said that the company was “proud” to earn this prestigious award.
“This solution will help customers to pick up fresh products in their most convenient locations without wasting time in the shop, or waiting in long queues,” Khodziuk said, offering special thanks to Arthur Grigorian, managing partner of OMNIC and his team.
The Retail Innovations competition saw participants from across the retail space present a wide range of new equipment and services for the retail industry. The RetailShow 2017 event also incorporated a Retail Congress conference, a number of workshops and training seminars, and the Best Shop Concept Awards. The last of these is dedicated to highlighting the most creative, technological and customised stores.
Modern-Expo is a leading manufacturer and supplier of complete retail solutions in Central and Eastern Europe, employing over 3,000 people. Currently, the company has three factories, in Ukraine and Belarus, and recently announced the opening of a fourth in Poland.
