Point of sale provider NCR Corporation has been named the top firm in the Global POS Software 2016 study, carried out by strategic research and consulting firm RBR.
RBR analysed close to 1,000 projects, carried out by more than 4 vendors, when developing the report.
It found that there are more than 6.6 million POS installations currently in operation worldwide, with NCR accounting for 18% of them, more than any other company.
Commenting on the acknowledgement, Mark Benjamin, president and COO, NCR Corporation, said, “Retail and hospitality brands are undergoing an evolution and transforming to become digitally integrated businesses.
